What we value

Partnership before capital, respect before judgment

Dear candidate,

Regenate partners with medium-sized family-owned and founder-led companies at important moments of succession, transformation, and growth. These situations require more than financial analysis. They require trust, patience, and a sincere interest in the people behind the business.

We value candidates who understand that owners are often making decisions about legacy, employees, reputation, and the future of something deeply personal.

Our team must therefore combine private equity discipline with genuine care for solving practical business problems.

Our team seeks motivated candidates for the positions described below. If you feel you have what it takes, we encourage you to take action and connect with us.

Maciej Kowalski
CEO of Regenate Capital Partners

Entry investment role

Analyst

Curious, analytical, and committed to understanding family-owned companies from the inside out.

The Analyst at Regenate combines strong analytical discipline with genuine curiosity about family-owned businesses and the people behind them. They bring core private equity skills, including financial modeling, financial analysis, market research, company benchmarking, investment memo preparation, and data-driven problem solving. At Regenate, however, technical ability alone is not enough.

A successful Analyst cares about understanding how family businesses really work: their history, culture, decision-making dynamics, customer relationships, and long-term aspirations. They approach every company with humility, respect, and a desire to learn before forming conclusions.

The Analyst plays an important role in helping Regenate identify businesses where we can be a constructive partner, not just a financial investor. They support the team by uncovering insights, asking thoughtful questions, and translating complex information into clear recommendations.

Key qualities

  • Strong financial modelling, research, and analytical skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and attention to detail
  • Humility and willingness to understand the human side of business
  • Ability to connect numbers with real operational and strategic challenges
Investment execution role

Associate

A practical problem-solver who combines PE execution skills with empathy for owners and management teams.

The Associate at Regenate combines strong private equity execution skills with a deep sense of responsibility toward the companies and families we partner with. They should be confident in financial modelling, investment analysis, due diligence, deal execution, commercial assessment, and portfolio support. Just as importantly, they must apply those skills in a practical, human, and relationship-oriented way.

At Regenate, the Associate is not simply evaluating companies as investment opportunities. They help understand whether Regenate can be the right partner for a business owner, management team, and family. This requires empathy, sound judgment, and the ability to see beyond financial statements into the real problems founders and family shareholders face: succession, professionalization, growth constraints, governance, talent, capital allocation, and preserving company culture.

The Associate should be comfortable engaging with entrepreneurs, owners, advisors, and management teams. They build trust through preparation, clarity, and authenticity, helping turn analysis into action through investment decisions and value creation initiatives that are genuinely useful to the business.

Key qualities

  • Strong PE toolkit across modelling, diligence, deal execution, and investment analysis
  • Ability to assess both financial performance and strategic potential
  • Practical problem-solving mindset
  • Empathy for family owners and respect for company legacy
  • Strong communication skills with owners, advisors, and management teams
  • Desire to create value through partnership, not only capital
Investment leadership role

Senior Associate

A developing investment leader who bridges rigorous analysis with real-world impact for family businesses.

The Senior Associate at Regenate is a developing investment leader who brings mature private equity judgment, strong execution capability, and clear alignment with Regenate's purpose. They should be able to lead significant parts of the investment process, including origination support, company assessment, due diligence coordination, investment thesis development, transaction execution, and portfolio value creation.

Beyond technical competence, the Senior Associate must embody Regenate's approach to working with family-owned companies: trust-based, long-term, practical, and deeply respectful of the people who built the business. They understand that many family business owners are not only selling or raising capital, they are making decisions about legacy, employees, reputation, and the future of something deeply personal.

The Senior Associate should identify what a company truly needs, whether that is strategic clarity, operational support, governance, talent, succession planning, growth capital, or a thoughtful partner who can help the owner navigate complexity. They act as a bridge between investment analysis and meaningful problem solving for the company.

Key qualities

  • Advanced PE skillset across diligence, transaction execution, investment judgment, and portfolio support
  • Ability to lead workstreams and mentor junior colleagues
  • Strong commercial, strategic, and operational thinking
  • High emotional intelligence and relationship-building ability
  • Deep respect for family ownership, legacy, and long-term decision-making
  • Genuine motivation to help business owners solve complex problems and build enduring companies
Internship programme

Internship program

For final-year students and graduates of business and finance majors who combine analytical curiosity with a genuine interest in human potential, psychology, and the people side of building companies.

The Regenate internship programme is designed for students who want to learn how private equity works in practice while understanding that investment decisions are ultimately about people, teams, owners, and long-term company potential.

Interns support research, market mapping, company analysis, investment materials, and selected value creation workstreams. The programme is best suited to candidates who are comfortable with numbers, but also interested in leadership, motivation, organisational behaviour, and the psychology of family-owned companies.

We are looking for people who want to develop a private equity toolkit while keeping a human lens on business: how owners make decisions, how teams change, and how companies can grow without losing what made them special.
